Weather Alert: Rainy Days Ahead

*03 July Weather:* Mostly dry & hot weather is expected at most places. Towards late evening or early morning hours thunderstorm can’t be ruled out .

*04 July* : Rain showers is expected at many places in Valley towards late afternoon/evening hours . Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected at most places in Jammu.

*05 & 06 July Weather* Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, Few places can receive very heavy rainfall particularly plains of Jammu & parts of South Kashmir. Thunderstorm / lightning & intense very heavy rainfall is also possible during this period.

*Advisory* :

1. Landslides are possible in the vulnerable areas of Jammu and Kashmir.


2. Flash floods can occur over vulnerable areas of J&K.
3 Fall in day temperature particularly on 05 & 06 July

4. Shutting of Jammu-Srinagar National Highway due to landslides/shooting stones.
