Major Fire Destroys Multiple Houseboats in Dal Lake, Srinagar

Srinagar, Nov 11 (JKNN): Officials reported a significant fire incident in Dal Lake, where multiple houseboats were consumed by flames.

According to JKNN, the fire originated in one of the houseboats near Ghat number 9, spreading to several others before authorities successfully brought it under control.

The estimated property loss is in the range of several crores of rupees. Initial assessments indicate that at least six houseboats suffered damage due to the fire.
