28/07/2024 (JKNN) Today, an intense heat wave gripped the Srinagar , pushing temperatures to a scorching 36.2 degrees Celsius.
This is the highest temperature recorded since 1893, marking an unprecedented event in weather history.
In a heart-wrenching scene at Soura, Srinagar, a dog was seen struggling to find relief from the oppressive heat by immersing itself in a drain.
This sight highlights the desperate measures animals are taking to cope with the extreme temperatures.
