Unidentified elderly man declared dead after losing consciousness at Darish Kadal, Police seek assistance in identification

Srinagar, Jan 25 (KS): An unidentified man was declared dead after losing his consciousness while at Darish Kadal in Srinagar on Thursday afternoon.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that an elderly man suddenly lost his consciousness while he was at Darish Kadal.
“The person was immediately taken to SKIMS Soura, where he was declared dead on arrival”, the official said.
Confirming the death of the individual, a police official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the person has no identity card to help them in ascertain his identity.
“We seek assistance from the general public to identify the person and if anyone has any idea or hint, he/she may inform the Police to help us in handing over the mortal remains of the person to the family”, the official said further. (KS)
