Duo Apprehended With Stolen Property in Anantnag
Srinagar, Mar 28 (KS): Two thieves were on Thursday apprehended with stolen property in Kokernag area in Anantnag district.
“Police Station Kokernag received a written complainant from one lady namely Ruby Akher wife of Mohd Iqbal Waza in Sagam Kokernag in which she stated that she visited her sister’s house short-time, in the meantime some unknown thief/thieves entered in her residential house and have stolen some cash, Golden ornaments, copper utensils etc,” reads a police statement issued to news agency Kashmir Scroll.
“Accordingly case FIR No 30/2024 U/S 454, 380 IPC was registered and investigation set into motion. On receipt of this information Police party from PS Kokernag swiftly sung into the action and arrested two suspected persons namely Faizan Gulzar Lone son of Gulzar Ahmad Lone of Magraypora Achabal and Bilal Ahmad Ganie son of Gh Ahmad Ganie of Nagam Kokernag and recovered stolen property from their possession,” the statement reads further.
