Two FIRs registered, three persons booked for posting objectionable posts in Reasi

Reasi, Jan 24 (KS):- District Police Reasi registered two FIRs and booked three persons who were arrested for posting objectionable post on social media platforms.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that acting promptly on directions of SSP Reasi Sh. Amit Gupta-JKPS, FIR No. 19/2024 U/S 295-A IPC has been registered at Police Station, Reasi and FIR No. 04/2024 U/S 295-A IPC of the law has been registered at Police Station Arnas.

SSP Reasi Sh Amit Gupta-JKPS advised people to refrain from posting any objectionable content on social media that disturb the peace and harmony in the area.

“All the social media platforms are under watch and all posts/comments will be monitored, he said, adding that strict action will be taken against the person who will post anything that is provocative and spread hatred.

District Police Reasi appeals people to maintain harmony and desist from using social media platforms to spread hatred which might vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the district.(KS)
