Truck Collides with Scooty on 90ft Road, Srinagar; Rider dies

04/07/2025 (JKNN) – An accident occurred this morning on 90ft Road VIA SKIMS in Srinagar near the Soura police station involving a truck and a scooty.

The truck, bearing registration number JK03E 3688, collided with the scooty, leaving the rider critically injured.
Tragically, the rider, 48-year-old Mohammad Amin Bhat, son of Mohammad Yousf Bhat, R/O District Ganderbal, later succumbed to his injuries,SgCt in J&K Police presently posted in DPL Srinagar.
The truck driver is from Kangan, and the scooty’s registration number is JK16B 7611.Further details are awaited, and more information will be available soon.
