TRF Militant Killed in Shopian Encounter – Police

Srinagar, November 9 (JKNN): An armed confrontation with security forces in the Kathohalan area of Shopian district in southern Kashmir resulted in the death of a militant.

Kashmir Zone Police, using the microblogging platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), released the following statement: “One (01) #terrorist linked to the banned #terror organization TRF has been neutralized. Incriminating evidence, including weapons and ammunition, has been seized.

“The search operation is ongoing. Additional details will follow,” the statement continued.

The slain militant has been identified as Maysar Ahmad Dar, a recently recruited militant from Veshro in Shopian. (JKNN)
