Traffic Update: Slow Movement on Jammu-Srinagar NH Due to Vehicle Breakdown and Nomadic Flocks

Srinagar 15/10/2024 (JKNN) In a statement to JK News Nation, the Traffic Department reported slow movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) between Ramban and Banihal due to vehicle breakdowns and the movement of nomadic flocks. Commuters are urged to exercise patience, adhere to lane discipline, and avoid overtaking to prevent further congestion. Passengers are advised to travel during daylight hours, as nomadic movement from the Kashmir Valley could cause delays during late hours. Additionally, the SSG Road, Mughal Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road, and NH-244 are open for vehicular movement.
