Top Police Officer rebuts romours of terror act in Rajouri, advises people not be part of ‘romour mongering’

Rajouri Apr 01 (KS): Rebutting the romours going around about an alleged terror act in Rajouri, a top police officer on Monday evening vehemently denied any such occurrence in the Chenab valley district.

“We have been observing romours of an alleged terror act in Rajouri district doing rounds on social-media, but it is to clarify that no such incident or occurrence has taken place anywhere in the district,” the police officer told news agency Kashmir Scroll.

“We strongly advise the people not to be a part of the romour mongering as such acts have far reaching consequences on the maintenance of law and order situation,” said the officer further. (KS)
