Three persons held as narco terror module busted in Kupwara
Srinagar, June 15 (KS):- Three persons were held as forces busted a narco terror module in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that on an input that person was trying to find purchasers for heroin a trap was laid by JKP and Army in Karnah and 2 persons were apprehended with approx 500g heroin.
They have been identified as Shafeeq Ahmad Sheikh son of Late Mohd Shafi Sheikh resident of Khawarparab Karnah and Tariq Ahmad Malik son of Gh. Ahmad Malik resident of Baghballa.

Further investigation revealed presence of 3 pistols with one Parvez Ahmed Pathan resident of Sadhpura, he said.
Immediately Parvez was apprehended in a joint raid by JKP and Army and 3 pistols, 76 pistol rounds, 6 pistol magazines and approx 5kg suspected explosive was recovered from his possession, official said.
In this regard FIR is registered and further interrogations and investigation is ongoing.(KS)
