No Terrorist killed, or any army Soldier injured: Police on Akhnoor Encounter

Jammu, Oct28 (NVI): Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday denied the reports regards the encounter in Akhnoor involving the neutralization of three terrorists.

In an statement J&K Police said no injuries were reported from the attack on the army vechile too and further details are being investigated.

The situation remain under control, and we urge the public to remain calm and refrain from spreading unverified information, Security Forces continue to monitor the area closely following the recent alerts for border districts, reads the statement.

Pertainly, the search was on in the area since morning.—(NVI)

Three terrorists killed in JK’s Akhnoor Gunfight

Srinagar, Oct 28 (NVI): Three terrorists were killed in a gunfight with security forces in the Akhnoor area of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said here.

The encounter began when militants fired upon an army ambulance in the morning. However, there were no reported injuries from the attack.

Security forces quickly responded, launching a cordon and search operation (CASO) in the area, which led to an exchange of fire.

Sources that three terrorists were killed and their bodies have been recovered. The search operation is ongoing, they said.—(News Vibes of India)
