Three terrorists killed as infiltration bid foiled in Kupwara

Srinagar, July 14 (KS):- Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid by militants near the line of control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir by killing three terrorists.

An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that alert troops noticed movement of heavily armed terrorists along the LoC in Keran sector of Kupwara.

He said that the terrorists were challenged, triggering off exchange of firing between the two sides in which three terrorists were killed.

He said that search operation is going on in the area.(KS)
