By:- Aijaz Rather
Srinagar 14/12/2025 (JKNN) A team comprising Aijaz Rather, Dr Altaf, Mr Tariq, Mr Sajid, and Mr Ishtiyaq visited the Dumail trek trail, taking in the aerial views of dense conifer forests and the peaceful natural surroundings.

After crossing the wooden bridge at Dumail,

the team explored the area, describing it as calm and untouched, offering a feeling of being in a different world.

Due to limited time and the absence of camping equipment, the team did not trek further towards Marchoi meadows and returned to Naranag village. On the way back, they paused to capture photographs and videos of the scenic stream, landscape, and ancient temple ruins.

During the visit, the team enjoyed traditional mutton kaanti and met three tourists from Kerala, who joined them for tea and Kashmiri lawasa. The visitors expressed their gratitude for the warmth and hospitality they experienced. A video recorded with them was later uploaded on JKNEWSNATION Instagram and crossed 10,000 views within the first 30 minutes, reflecting the growing interest in Kashmir’s natural beauty and local hospitality.
