The incident occurred when Babar was facing fast bowler Khurram Shahzad in the nets.

While preparing for the crucial series, Babar was hit in the abdomen by a delivery from Shahzad, causing him significant pain. The former Pakistan captain immediately crouched down in discomfort, prompting Shahzad to check on him.
