Srinagar 21/12/2024 (JKNN) Srinagar experienced a bone-chilling night as temperatures plummeted to -8.5°C, marking the coldest December night in 34 years. The previous record low was in 1990.
Historically, Srinagar’s all-time lowest temperature was -12.8°C, recorded on December 13, 1934.
This extreme drop in temperature highlights the intensity of this year’s winter season, impacting daily life and posing challenges for residents.
