Srinagar Bound Police Vehicle Meets With Accident, 4 Cops Injured in Banihal

Srinagar, Dec 16 (KS): A police vehicle on way from Doda to Srinagar met with an accident near Banihal, resulting in injuries to at least four police personnel on Saturday.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a Police Vehicle bearing number JK02 4560, met with an accident at Chamalwas Banihal, resulting in injuries to four cops.
“The injured cops were immediately taken from the site to a hospital for treatment”, the official said.
He identified the injured cops as Adil Nazir, son of Nazir Ahmad, resident of Hazratbal Srinagar; Mehraj-ud-Din son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Noor Bagh, Sajad Ahmad son of Assadullah of Qazigund and Parvaiz Ahmad son of Abdul Rashid of Anantnag.
“Three of the injured cops have normal injuries while one has a fracture in his right arm”, the official said further. (KS)
