04/02/2024: (JKNN) Acting on credible information, the Shopian Police undertook a raid at a residential house located in Batpora, Shopian. During the operation, law enforcement authorities discovered and seized a significant quantity of approximately 640 grams of a substance resembling Charas.
Additionally, a grinder and a weighing machine were confiscated from the possession of a lady residing at the premises.
In response to these findings, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, initiating a formal legal process.
The Shopian Police have commenced a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the origin, distribution, and any potential illegal activities associated with the seized items.
