Anantnag, August 13::: Prominent political activist & DPAP Halqa President Murtaza Ahmad Shah of Magreypora Kanganhal in Central Anantnag Assembly segment along with his donzens of supporters joined the National Conference in a formal event held at Magreypora today.

Welcoming Murtaza Shah in the party fold, NC Leader & senior socio-political activist Imran Amin Shah emphasised the importance of socio-political leaders in contributing to a harmonious and equitable society. He expressed confidence that the new incumbents would bring valuable insights and energy to the National Conference’s mission.

Shah said that “a realisation has dawned on the people that there is no alternative to NC and the party alone can represent the social, political and economic aspirations and multifarious problems effectively and single-mindedly of the people of the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir.”

He said that the state is going through very difficult times and it is the people who have an important and valuable role to play in addressing the challenges faced by the people.

Shah said a decisive battle is needed to be fought against divisive forces, who have taken central stage by exploiting regional and religious sentiments to further their myopic and nefarious political agenda.”
