Seasons First Snowfall Expected in Kashmir Valley
A fresh Western disturbance is set to impact the entire Jammu and Kashmir region from the night of September 26 to 28. This system is expected to bring rain showers to the plains, while higher areas of the Kashmir Valley could witness the season’s first snowfall.
According to current observations, the highest chances of snowfall are predicted for elevated areas like Gulmarg, Sonamarg, Doodhpatri, Sinthan Top, Sadhana Pass, Peer ki Gali, Razdan Pass, and Gurez Valley.
The intensity of the weather event is expected to be light in the plains, with light to moderate snowfall over the upper reaches. Further updates will be shared in the coming days.
