Srinagar, Mar 31 (KNO): Search operation to retrieve body of a man who jumped in the river Jhelum near Zaina Kadal area of Srinagar on Thursday late evening has entered third day, officials said on Sunday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Indian Navy’s Marcos commandos have also been roped in for the search operation.
He said Farooq Ahmad Shangloo (60) of Zakoora, Srinagar jumped in the river Jhelum near Zaina Kadal on Thursday late evening.
“Soon after a search operation was launched by SDRF and the river police, but they couldn’t locate the body. Today Marcos also joined the operation,” he said—(KNO)
