Search Operation Intensifies to Locate Missing Boy in Sopore; No Trace Found Yet
Srinagar, Sep 02 (NVI): The search for a minor boy who drowned in Nallah Firozpora at Haritar, Sopore, entered its second consecutive day on Monday without any trace of the missing child.
An official told the News Vibes of India (NVI) that the search has been difficult in the river despite continuous rescue operations by rescue teams and local authorities.
The missing boy, identified as a resident of Gund Jahangir Hajin, Bandipora, had gone missing early Sunday morning.
He added that the search operation entered its second day, while no traces of the missing boy were found.
He said the boy, who was reportedly playing close to Nallah on Sunday, slipped in, following which a rescue operation was launched.—(News Vibes of India)
