Scooty rider dies in Srinagar road accident

Srinagar, Mar 15, KNT: A Scooty rider died this evening in the Badami Bagh area of Srinagar uptown after his Scooty skidded off the road, official sources said.

They said the Scooty rider identified as 25-year-old Asif Altaf Baba suffered grievous injuries after his Scooty skidded off the road. He was taken to SMHS Hospital Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim was the resident of saffron town Pampore.

Hospital sources confirmed the death of the rider saying he was brought to hospital in critical condition.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
