Rusted mortar shell found, destroyed in , Rajouri

Rajouri, Oct 09 (KS):- A rusted mortar shell was detected and subsequently destroyed in a controlled explosion in Rajouri district on Monday, officials said.

Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that mortar shell was noticed by a local in Nowshera area of Rajouri who accordingly informed police.

They said the area was immediately cordoned off and a bomb disposal squad was summoned which later destroyed the mortar shell in a controlled mechanism without causing any damage.(KS)
