Road leading from Makdoom Sab to Islamia College in Dire Condition for Five Years: Residents and Graveyard Affected, Appeal to Authorities for Repair

31/07/2024 (JKNN) The road leading from Makdoom Sab to Islamia College has been in a terrible state for the past five years.
This situation has caused immense distress to the residents who use this road daily.
Additionally, there is a graveyard adjacent to this road, and the poor condition of the road poses significant challenges during burials.
Residents report that navigating the road is almost impossible due to numerous potholes and constant flooding during the rainy season.
This has led to daily inconveniences and significant difficulties during emergencies and funerals.
“We have been facing problems every day because of this road.
The condition is so bad that even simple tasks like commuting have become a challenge. Funerals are especially difficult due to the adjacent graveyard,” said a resident.
The community is united in their call for urgent action, pleading with the authorities to prioritize the repair of this road.
The prolonged neglect has taken a toll on the residents’ daily lives and the dignity of the burials at the graveyard.
“We appeal to the relevant authorities to take immediate action. This road has been in this condition for five years, and it’s high time something is done about it,” urged another resident.The residents remain hopeful that their appeals will finally be heard and necessary repairs will be undertaken without further delay.
