Public Outcry in Srinagar Saderbal Hazratbal Area as Rs. 5 Bread Vanishes, Rs. 10 Bread Dominates, and Authorities Stay Silent

Srinagar 29/07/2024 (JKNN) Authorities are nowhere to be seen as breadmakers in Srinagar continue to cheat the public by not offering affordable Rs. 5 bread.

The market is flooded with Rs. 10 bread, leaving many residents struggling to afford this basic staple.

One resident from Saderbal Hazratbal shared his frustration with JKNews Nation, recounting an encounter with a local breadmaker.

When asked why Rs. 5 bread was not available, the breadm aker dismissively replied that it was his choice what to bake and that the resident could do whatever he wanted.

This lack of affordable bread is a significant concern for many residents who rely on the cheaper option to feed their families.

The authorities’ failure to conduct morning raids and regulate the market is exacerbating the issue.

The situation calls for immediate action from the authorities to ensure that breadmakers comply with pricing regulations and provide affordable bread options to the public.

The resident’s plea for intervention highlights a growing dissatisfaction among the populace, who feel neglected and exploited.

The authorities are urged to step up and address this issue promptly to prevent further hardship for the residents of Srinagar.
