Srinagar, 17/11/2024 (JKNN) Prof. Abdul Wahid Qureshi, a prominent academician and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Kashmir, passed away on Sunday due to a cardiac arrest at SKIMS in Soura srinagar
A towering figure in the education sector of Jammu and Kashmir, Prof. Qureshi was revered for his contributions to higher education and his dedication to academic excellence. During his tenure as Vice Chancellor, he introduced several reforms that benefited the student community and uplifted the institution’s standing.
