Power Shutdown Scheduled in Various Areas

SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 31: (JKNN) The Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, has announced planned power shutdowns across several regions to carry out essential maintenance and upgrade work on power lines. These outages, necessary for infrastructure improvements, will affect multiple areas on different dates in early November 2024.

2. Singhpora, Nihalpora, Mirgund, Shadipora: Branch cutting on the 33 KV HMT line will cause outages at the Receiving Stations in these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 5.

3. Pattan, Palhallan, Hamray: The shutdown of the 33 KV Pattan-Amargrah line will affect these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 6.

4. Sangarama, Wagoora, Kreeri, Ichloo: To carry out line maintenance, power will be out on the 33 KV Delina-Wagoora line, impacting these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 7.

5. Arampora, Panzipora, Shercolony, Bugoo: For shifting conductors on newly installed poles, shutdowns on the 33 KV Amargrah-Arampora line will affect these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 5 and 7.

6. Panzgam, Karen, Kralpora, Tanghdar: Branch cutting on the 33 KV Kralpora line will result in power outages in these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 5 and 7.

7. Karhama, Trehgam, Hyhama: Power will be out for maintenance on the 33 KV Hayhama line, affecting these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 6 and 8.

8. Drugmulla, Tikker, Galizoo, Khumeriya, Kursen, Sogam, Machil: Maintenance on the 33 KV Kupwara Hot/Old/MES line will lead to outages from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 5 and 9.

9. Handwara, Chogal: A planned shutdown on the 33 KV Handwara Hot line will impact these areas from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM on November 6.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements and plan accordingly. The shutdowns are part of a series of improvements under the RDSS works and will help enhance the reliability of the power distribution network.
