04/09/2024 (JKNN) Noorbagh’s MMC Hospital, a key healthcare facility serving the population of Noorbagh, Rathpora, Baghwan Pora, Danamazar, Chandpora, and surrounding areas, is facing significant challenges due to the poor condition of the connecting road from the main road to the hospital. The hospital, which provides a range of services including a functional primary health center, ANC, immunization, lab, USG, and general OPD services, is also home to a zonal office, zonal drug store, district drug store, and 108 ambulance bay.The deteriorating road has become a serious concern for the daily visitors, including expecting mothers, elderly patients, and hospital staff. The road’s large potholes have led to damage to several vehicles, causing back problems for many, and posing a severe inconvenience to the public.If not repaired promptly, the road’s condition could lead to a major catastrophe, especially given its status as an emergency route. WITU (Workers’ Initiative for Transport Upgradation) has raised an urgent call for immediate repairs, emphasizing the critical need for the road to be made motorable to prevent further risks and ensure safe access to the hospital.
