Poonch Anti-terror Operation: COAS Gen Manoj Pande Likely To Visit Jammu Tomorrow

Srinagar, Dec 24 (KS): Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande is likely to visit Jammu tomorrow in the backdrop of a terrorist attack leaving at least four soldiers slain in Surankote area of Poonch district.
A top official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that General Manoj Pande will be accompanied by a high-level team to oversee the situation arisen out of a dastardly terrorist attack along DKG-Buffliaz road, leaving at least four army personnel slain while several others are under treatment, on Thursday last.
“The visit of the army chief holds much significance and the security apparatus along the border may see an overall overhaul for coming times”, the official said further. (KS)
