Police Attaches Property Of Pak Based Terror Handler In Awantipora
Srinagar, January 07(GNS): Police on Tuesday said that it have attached property of a terror handler in South Kashmir’s Awantipora.
In a handout to GNS, the police said that it in Awantipora have attached an immovable property (04 Marlas of land) situated at Syedabad Pastoona Tral worth lakhs belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan namely Mubashir Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Syedabad Pastuna Tral. The action was taken under sections 25 of UAPA Act.
The spokesman further said that the property was identified belonging to a terror handler during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Awantipora Police.
Pertinently, the Pak based terrorist handler Mubashir Ahmad is involved in promoting and reviving terrorist activities by pushing in arms & ammunition for activating local terror networks. The operation reaffirms the commitment of J&K Police to combat the terror activities, reads the statement.(GNS)
