Police Arrest Drug Peddler in Pattan, Baramulla; 21.9 Kgs of Contraband Poppy Straw Recovered
12/09/2024 (JKNN) In a major crackdown on drug-related crimes, the police in Pattan, Baramulla, have arrested a suspected drug peddler early this morning.
During the arrest, authorities recovered 21.9 kilograms of contraband poppy straw from the individual’s possession.
The arrest is part of ongoing efforts to curb the drug menace in the region, with law enforcement agencies focusing on dismantling networks involved in drug trafficking.
Further investigations are underway to identify potential accomplices and sources of the contraband.
