PDL hospitalised with serious injuries after allegedly hit with brick in Sumbal B’pora; one accused arrested

Srinagar, Dec 19 (KS): A Permanent Daily Labourer (PDL) was hospitalised with serious injuries after allegedly being hit with a brick in Sumbal in Bandipora district, official sources said.
The official sources informed the news agency Kashmir Scroll that a person attacked the PDL, Firdous Ahmad Bhat, with a brick, resulting in serious injuries to him. The labourer was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment and is currently admitted under intensive care unit.
SSP Bandipora confirming the incident to Kashmir Scroll said that an FIR number 198/2023 under sections 341/ 323/ 353 IPC has been registered in this regard.
“We have arrested an accused, while there are three persons in total involved in the act”, the officer said. (KS)
