PDD employee electrocuted in Soura, hospitalized

Srinagar, Jan 11 (KNO): A Power Development Department (PDD) employee was injured on Saturday evening after receiving an electric shock at the Grid Station in Soura, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a PDD employee was injured this evening after receiving an electric shock at the Grid Station in Soura, Srinagar.

He said the employee sustained burn injuries and was shifted to SKIMS Soura for medical aid, adding that his condition is not known yet.

He was identified as Bilal Ahmad Shah (55), son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah, a resident of Ahmad Nagar, Srinagar.
