One person dies, many others injured in Ramban accident

Ramban, May 01 (KNO): One person died while several others were injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Shabanbass area of Banihal in Ramban district.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), “A tempo traveller bearing registration number JK14A-9438 was on the way from Jammu towards Srinagar when it met with an accident at Shabanbass Banihal.”
Police and rescue teams reached the spot soon after the accident, he said, adding that one person died on the spot while several others suffered injuries.
He said the injured were shifted to SDH Banihal treatment.
“Six persons having critical injuries were shifted to Anantnag for treatment while others are stable,” official added—(KNO)
