On election duty, BSF official dies of heart attack in Baramulla

Srinagar, May 23 (KS): A head constable of the Border Security Force (BSF) stationed on election duty in Kunzer area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district passed away due to a heart attack on Wednesday late evening.

Reliable sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that the deceased head constable, identified as Brahandev Ram from 185 Bn BSF B-Coy, was on duty at the Higher Secondary School Kunzar in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district when he suffered a heart attack.

They said that immediate medical assistance was provided, and he was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital where from he was refferred to JVC Srinagar. However, the doctors at JVC Srinagar declared him brought dead upon arrival.

Further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
