CRPF Trooper Shoots Himself Dead During Naka Duty in Srinagar

Srinagar, Dec 11, KNT: A CRPF trooper died on Wednesday late night after shooting himself with his service rifle during naka duty at Karpura Brane in the Nishat area of Srinagar outskirts.
He was affiliated with 54 Battalion, posted in Brein Nishat.
The deceased was identified as Sujeet Kumar from Jharkhand.
Police said proceedings have been initiated and an inquiry is underway to ascertain the circumstances of the incident.[KNT]
