Oil Marketing Companies Raise Price of 19 kg Commercial LPG Cylinder by Rs 39

01/09/2024 (JKNN) Oil marketing companies have raised the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder by Rs 39, starting from Sunday.Following the hike, the retail price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi now stands at Rs 1,691.50.Previously, on July 1, oil marketing companies had reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 30, bringing the cost of a 19 kg cylinder in Delhi to Rs 1,646, as part of a relief measure for businesses.Before that, on June 1, the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders was reduced by Rs 69.50, lowering the retail price to Rs 1,676. Similarly, on May 1, 2024, there was a reduction of Rs 19 per cylinder.These frequent price adjustments at the beginning of each month underscore the volatile nature of the market, influenced by factors such as global oil prices, tax policies, and supply-demand dynamics.Although specific reasons for the latest price changes have not been disclosed, it is clear that oil marketing companies are adapting to broader economic conditions and market trends.
