Non-local labourer dies in a scuffle in Budgam

Budgam, Sep 11, KNT: A non-local labourer died after he was allegedly manhandled by another non-local labourer during a scuffle in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday.

Police arrested the accused and charged him with the murder.
Sources said that there was a scuffle between two labourers from Bihar working at a brick kiln in Gondipora Beerwah. The scuffle led to the death of Shatrudhan Ram son of Chulhai Ram, a resident of Gawas Nagar Bihar.

In this connection the accused namely Sajan Das son of Kapal Das of Gosa Nagar Bihar was arrested and lodged at police station Beerwah. An FIR vide number 109/ 2023 under section 302 has been registered in this regard. [KNT]
