In the span of just 15 days, two transformers in Srinagar’s areas equipped with smart meters have encountered malfunctions. One is positioned near Awanta Bhawan , and the other is situated in Sazwari Ground.

The current situation is vividly captured in video footage. Despite this, the responsible department seems oblivious, resulting in substantial inconvenience for the general public.

Expressing their concerns, residents urgently appeal to authorities for a swift resolution of the issue. Additionally, residents highlight that the department provided duplicate electric gadgets, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
