Anantnag, Jan 07: (JKNN) National Conference (NC) leader Imran Amin Shah today commended Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for his proactive leadership during Chil-I-Kalan, the harshest winter period in Kashmir, as he stayed in the valley and closely monitored the administration’s response to heavy snowfall over the past two weeks.

During a visit to Doonipawa and the General Bus Stand area of Anantnag, Shah expressed appreciation for the effective measures taken under CM Abdullah’s guidance, which led to the timely restoration of essential services despite the severe weather conditions.

Shah also praised the efforts of Mr. Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, for his extensive tours in North Kashmir to oversee snow clearance operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in the region.

In his engagements with local communities, Shah assured residents of the NC Government’s dedication to comprehensive development, better infrastructure, improved public amenities, and transparent governance, while addressing their concerns and promising to resolve longstanding issues.
