NC leader Imran Shah Seeks Immediate Red Cross Relief, Fast-Tracks Damage Assessment in Anantnag
Anantnag, Jan 25: ( JKNN)National Conference (NC) District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, today conducted an extensive tour of several localities in the central segment of Anantnag, including Prakashpora, Tantray-Check, Check-Jamal and Anzvola, to assess the situation following the recent snowfall and gusty winds.
During the visit, Imran Shah interacted with local residents, patiently listening to their grievances and feedback. He assessed the damage caused to houses, public infrastructure, and daily livelihoods, and reviewed the difficulties being faced by the people in the aftermath of the adverse weather.
Highlighting the urgency of timely intervention, Imran Shah appealed to the District Administration to provide immediate cash assistance to the affected families from the Red Cross Fund as an interim relief measure. He stressed that prompt support is essential to help vulnerable households meet their immediate needs and recover from losses.
Imran Shah also urged the authorities to expedite the damage assessment process and ensure swift and adequate relief to all affected areas.
Reiterating his commitment to public welfare, Imran Shah assured the people that their concerns would be strongly taken up with the concerned authorities for early redressal.
