NC leader Imran Shah Calls for People-Centric, Fast-Track Development of Anantnag Town
Anantnag: Jan 20: Urging the district administration to expedite the pace of development within town limits in close coordination with the general public, Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah on Tuesday emphasized that all developmental initiatives must be people-friendly and aligned with public expectations.
While interacting with residents of Kadipora during an on-site assessment of the ongoing works on the Syed sahib (RA) Spring, Shah stressed the importance of community participation in the development process. He urged the executing agencies to seriously consider local suggestions so that the projects effectively address ground-level issues and remain convenient and beneficial for the people.
Highlighting the need for focused attention on urban development, Shah strongly advocated for special developmental programmes for Anantnag town to enhance its overall attractiveness and improve civic amenities. He observed that the town has remained largely neglected in the past, resulting in accumulated infrastructural and civic deficits.

Imran Shah further noted that the people of Anantnag now repose high hopes in the National Conference for ensuring holistic, inclusive, and sustainable development of the town. He reiterated the party’s commitment to prioritising public welfare and ensuring that development reaches every section of society.
