Discusses water woes faced by the people in Eidgah; gets assurance for early resolution
Srinagar, Feb 12: Former Chairman SMC, Corporator and Apni Party Incharge Eidgah Constituency Mohammad Ashraf Palpori today took proactive steps to address the pressing issue of water shortage in Bonpora, Takanwari Eidgah.
In a meeting with the newly appointed Chief Engineer PHE department Vivek Kohli, Palpori discussed the challenges faced by residents due to inadequate water supply.
Expressing their concerns, he highlighted the urgent need for a resolution to the water shortage problem in the area and emphasized the importance of immediate action to alleviate the difficulties faced by the community.
“I have also raised the problems concerning the pending installation of vital water pipes in Pamposh colony,Kawser Colony, Shamasabad lane,1,2,3,4,Guzerbal, Palpora, Goripora, Chochan, Kreshibal,tengpora,Bakshipora,Badiwadur, Sangam Danmar and Shunglipora , Guzerbal,Noorbagh,areas where people have been long suffering,” he said.
Palpori asserted that Chief Engineer Vivek Kohli patiently listened to their grievances and assured them that the matter would be given due consideration.
“He pledged to work towards finding a sustainable solution to the water scarcity issue in Bonpora Takanwari and other areas besides installation and repair of water pipes in other areas of Eidgah,” Palpori said.
He was also accompanied by Constituency Head Molvi Mohammad Ashraf Dar, Zonal Coordinator Eidgah Haji Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Block President Noorbagh Mohammad Lateef Alie and Mohalla President Bangladesh Ashiq Ahmed Wani.
