Militancy in J&K Almost Eliminated, Remaining Few Dismantled in Progress : DGP

Kupwara, Oct 24 (KS) : The Director General of Police, Dilbagh Singh on Tuesday said that militancy in the union territory has been significantly eradicated, with only a few remnants remaining.
Addressing the media in Kupwara as per News Agency Kashmir Scroll, the police chief made a heartfelt appeal to the youth to abandon arms and reintegrate themselves into the mainstream society.
Director General Dilbagh Singh expressed his concern over the youth who have joined militancy and affirmed that security forces do not take pride in neutralizing local recruits. Instead, he emphasized the importance of providing opportunities and support to these young individuals, urging them to reconsider their choices and choose a path that leads to growth and prosperity.(KS)
