Reports flooded in from users experiencing issues, particularly on WhatsApp, where many were unable to send or receive messages.
The platform Down Detector, which tracks service interruptions, recorded a significant spike in complaints shortly after the disruption began. Social media users turned to alternative platforms to voice their frustrations and seek updates on the situation.
