Man dies under suspicious circumstances in police custody in Jammu, family demands investigation

Jammu, Dec 22 (KS):- A man died under suspicious circumstances in the Akhnoor area of Jammu following which the family staged a protest to demand investigation.

Sources told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a family along with locals are on protest outside PP Jourian as man identified as Sunil Kumar Alias Sonu son of Deewan Chand resident of Garhi Bishna Jourian died under suspicious circumstances in police custody at PP Jourian..

They said that the dead body was sent to GMC for postmortem while further investigation has been taken up.

“Family along with locals of deceased are on protest outside PP Jourian while Senior Police officers are also on Spot.” They said.(KS)
