Man dies due to suffocation in Srinagar
Srinagar, Dec 21 (KS) : A men died of suffocation caused by a gas-leak in Shaltang area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Thursday.
An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that a man fell unconscious and subsequently died due to gas leakage caused by a gas heater in his room.
The deceased was identified as Parvaiz Sheikh Son of Gh Qadir Sheikh resident of Letharwan area in Kupwara who was living in a rented room in Srinagar.
He said that police are ascertaining the details and primarily investigation suggests suffocation as the cause of death.(KS)
