Man dies after coming in contact with live wire in Rajouri

Rajouri, Feb 21 (KNC) : A man was killed due to electrocution near Dooddha Dhari Mandir in Rajouri district on Saturday while collecting leaves from a tree for his livestock, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner—(KNC) that the deceased was identified as Amjad Khan, son of Saleem Khan, a resident of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district and presently residing at Ward No. 5, Jawahar Nagar, Panja Chowk in Rajouri.
He reportedly came in contact with a live electric wire while collecting leaves for his sheep and goats, resulting in his instant death, he said.
The body was shifted to A&H GMC Kheora, Rajouri, for medico-legal formalities, and further investigation is underway he added.—(KNC)
