Man critically injured in bear attack in Tral

Tral, Oct 18, KNT: A 32-year-old man was seriously injured in a bear attack in the Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Locals said that a black bear attacked Abdul Khaliq at Gulshanpora Tral in a field. The victim sustained critical injuries and was shifted to a local hospital where doctors referred him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
A couple of months back in a similar incident in the same town at Gujjar Basti Narstan, a septuagenarian identified as Muhammad Abdullah had received critical injuries in a bear attack. [KNT]
